Under the\u00a0Race Discrimination Ordinance (“RDO”)<\/a>\u00a0, it is unlawful to discriminate, harass and vilify a person on the ground of his\/her race. With the\u00a0RDO<\/a>\u00a0in place, people of different races can live and work as one community. An adoption in Hong Kong must be effected in accordance with the Adoption Ordinance , Cap. 290<\/a> , Laws of Hong Kong.
